Eghosa Gbadegesin is an Accounting /Management professional and a social worker. Currently, She is the finance coordinator of the Women Voice and Leadership (WVL) project at the ActionAid Nigeria which has offered her the opportunity to work with and build the capacity of over 100 Local Women’s rights and Community based Organisations (CBOs)in all regions of the Country. Eghosa is deeply enthused by feminist financing and issues pertaining to the advancement of women and girl child rights.

Her experience in the Non Governmental Organization sector span over eleven (11) years and she has worked on projects funded by Global Affairs Canada, Global Fund, Mac Arthur Foundation, Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, Ford Foundation, among others.

Eghosa is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). Also, She is a recipient of the Peter J. Donaldson Scholarship on Leadership and communication which further broadened her horizons on the means necessary to remedy some of the societal anomalies hindering the advancement of the feminine gender. Women rights and Gender issues would always be at the core of Eghosa’s endeavours as her other life’s pursuits are only means to exploring it.
