At FeministHub, we believe that feminism is not a slogan, it is a way of reimagining society. We stand on the truth that women and girls, in all their diversity, have the right to live free from discrimination, violence, and exclusion. Our work is rooted in collective care, equality, justice, and the unwavering defense of women’s rights.
We do not apologize for centering women. We do not dilute feminist values. Instead, we embrace them as the foundation of a just and equal Nigeria. This is why FeministHub exists: to be a space where ideas, stories, resources, and movements converge, and where women’s rights organizations, activists, and allies connect to shift power and advance the women’s rights movement.
FeministHub was born during the Women’s Voice and Leadership (WVL) Nigeria Project (2019–2024), a groundbreaking initiative supported by Global Affairs Canada and led by ActionAid Nigeria. For five years, the Hub became a home for amplifying voices, documenting impact, and building the visibility of women’s rights organizations across the country.
In 2025, we entered a new chapter with the Renewed Women’s Voice and Leadership (RWVL-Nigeria) Project (2025–2030) funded by Global Affairs Canada. This flagship initiative continues the legacy of WVL while expanding its reach to women human rights defenders, marginalized groups, and structurally excluded communities, including women and girls with disabilities and those living in conflict and crisis-affected states.
Through the RWVL Project, we remain committed to advancing women’s rights and strengthening the women’s rights movement in Nigeria. By supporting feminist networks, marginalized groups, and community-led advocacy, FeministHub ensures that the voices of women and girls are not only heard but drive the policies, practices, and social change needed for true equality.
With RWVL Nigeria Project, FeministHub has become more than an archive of the past, it is the engine of the present and a compass for the future. It is where Nigeria’s women’s rights movement documents its struggles, celebrates its wins, and pushes forward the agenda for gender equality until every woman and girl enjoys her full rights.
FeministHub is our story, our voice, our collective power. And together, we rally under one call: #AllNigerianWomenMatter.
